Brief Description of DTE Energy:

DTE Energy is an energy and energy technology provider. The Company also develops and invests in emerging energy technologies such as distributed generation.  DTE Energy's subsidiary, Detroit Edison, supplies energy to 2.1 million customers in Southeastern Michigan. DTE Energy's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Targets:

    Reduce GHG emissions by 5 percent from 1999 levels by 2005.

    Reduce power plant CO₂ emissions 4 percent below a 1998-2001 average 
          baseline level by 2006

• Reduce net power plant CO₂ emissions 6% below a 1998-2001 average baseline level by 2010
